Amnesty International

aulayan:

Early yesterday, Amnesty International announced it would send Human Rights Teams to the United States for the first time ever due to the actions by the police forces in Ferguson, Missouri.

This happened about 45 minutes ago:

The first time the United States gets a team deployed to it, the militarized police forces them out of the area.

There is another region in which Amnesty International has been barred in the past 24 hours…

That says a lot.

Your bottled water habit is sucking California dry

If you’re reading this, chances are very high that your home has at least one — and maybe more! — magic appliance that produces clean water suitable for drinking. That’s one reason to avoid paying for bottled water.

Another reason? There’s a good chance the water you’re buying at the supermarket was bottled in California, a state currently enduring a severe drought.

Turn on the tap instead Follow micdotcom

EVERYONE PLEASE AT LEAST TAKE A QUICK SECOND TO LOOK AT THIS

BECAUSE IT IS EFFECTING THE EXACT AREA I LIVE IN

Lots of people believe bottled water is safer and cleaner than tap water, when in reality there’s no evidence proving such a thing.

Penn & Teller’s Bullshit!: Bottled Water segment, gives a very good and thorough summary of the bottled water culture https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHx6BX3HZJc

You want better water? Buy a Zero filter. SRSLY. Stop buying bottled if possible. You need water with you? Get reusable acrylic or glass water bottles (wrapped in a silicon sleeve) and fill it up from your filter pitcher. SAVE MONEY, SAVE MY STATE

Who's your favorite Mindcracker right now? ^U^

Despite what I have been posting lately, PSJ will always and forever be my favorite.

He’s how I found out about Mindcrack in the first place and while his builds aren’t as exciting or extravagant as the others, he plays the game probably better than anyone else. He beat Waking Up with no deaths, for crying out loud!

So yeah, Paul Soares Jr <3

Possession - Chapter 3 »

Yeah…um….There’s really no explanation for how weird this series has become other than I’m a twisted individual. Just go with it and enjoy the tentacle sex. >:3

Next chapter we’ll have some pairings that I haven’t done in this series yet. Look forward to it ;)

this changes everything oh my god

do you understand why it trips me out that people can drive 45 minutes and be in aNOTHER COUNTRY?I drive for 45 minutes and im like
a city over

I live in “Italy” and took a day trip to go to “Austria” and “Germany”

#it is literally impossible to leave texas #you will be in texas #FOREVER

Chums, that’s sweet, and all, but Australia just ate Texas for breakfast.

If you drive for 45 minutes in Australia you aren’t a city over, you’re just 45 minutes away from the city.

If you drive for 45 minutes in Australia you may not even leave the cattle station.

If you drive for 45 minutes in Canada you may not even leave your driveway.

If I drive 45 minutes in the us I’m just at another mcdonalds

If I drive for 45 minutes in Northern Ireland I’m 10 minutes into the sea.

I can’t drive.

I will use this post to explain tumblr

That Canada size comparison is inaccurate. You need to take a picture of it from a globe because land on flat maps gets progressively magnified as you go further north and south.
